Bengal Cat Patterns and Colors _
The Bengal cat is well-known for its stunning spotted coat, resembling its ancestor, the Asian leopard cat. However, Bengals can also have other coat patterns and come in a range of colors. Let’s explore the different patterns you might find in a Bengal cat’s coat…
THE ROSETTED/SPOTTED BENGAL CAT
The most common patterns in Bengal cats are rosetted and spotted. To tell them apart, observe the spots. If they appear as closed circles with a lighter center, these are rosettes, and the cat is a rosetted Bengal. For a spotted Bengal, the spots are smaller and a single, darker color than the surrounding coat. Both patterns come in various shapes and sizes, including donut, pancake, clouded, paw-print, and arrowhead rosettes. Regardless of the pattern, both rosetted and spotted Bengal cats can come in a variety of colors. Here are some examples:

THE MARBLE BENGAL CAT
Check out the striking and exotic look of the marble Bengal cat. While many people associate the wild appearance with only the rosetted Bengal, the marble Bengal cat is equally stunning. The marble pattern develops its beauty from birth to the first year, with the colors and patterns becoming more vibrant and defined as the kitten grows. Marble Bengal cats can also come in the same colors as the spotted or rosetted Bengal cat patterns.
BENGAL CAT COLORS
Many people’s first encounter with a Bengal cat is with a brown variety. However, there are many other stunning colors available.
